Neighborhood Tours
The impact of foreclosures on neighborhoods is real. As part of Save the American Dream campaign, groups from around the country are hosting neighborhood tours to provide industry representatives and the media with a greater understanding of the impact foreclosures have on neighborhoods. Homeowners lose. Neighbors lose. The city loses. And the industry is stuck with Real Estate Owned properties that no one wants to buy. Neighborhood tours provide an opportunity to see first hand the challenges and destruction caused by abandoned and boarded up housing. Tours also show the desire to make a difference by those organizations dedicated to local community revitalization work. We must Save the American Dream.
